I got about halfway done with the "white tower" build idea before I had to take a break for the night... dying of thirst... too much salt - not enough fluids I guess ;) Dak

idea for possible group activity - (open to cuss and discuss)
idea for possible group activity - (open to cuss and discuss)
while farming dirt for the Huntsman's Woods build, I "discovered" an "abandoned pumpkin farm". ;) (see attached images) What circumstances would bring someone to abandon a perfectly good pumpkin farm? Would one of our group members (new or old) want to move in and renovate? Would a group of brave explorers want to investigate what (edit:delete ravine full of horrible mobs) interesting circumstance lead to the current state of affairs? (note: it's a really pleasant location, not too far from the mesa teleport, Dak)

I have a suggestion to make :) How about creating a google sheet (through google form may be) for all participants to add their information such as Avatar name, real name, where from or where they are in the world, what they do or who they teach for example. Then let everybody join with the Avatar name in here, if they choose to at least.
I think this is more immersive and also much less confusing. I found it hard to remember two names for each person :) (I'm already very bad at remembering names).
I for one would love to bring my Olive in here..
Thank you. :)

After struggling to find my way down to the ADG Mine with Vance earlier tonight, I decided I needed to make a more "convenient" way to get in and out of the mine... I discovered the rule "don't dig up" applies equally as well as "don't dig down". :)
My stairway up from the mine came out under a river! :(
Not really "convenient".
Oh well... :)

Hi everyone, and attn Jeff Kuhn, Aaron Schwartz, Jane Chien, as you'll be in Chicago, perhaps you'd like to get on the program for this one as well ...
And to everyone else, there is still time to join us in the Best of EVO session to be held on-site at TESOL Chicago in March AND get your name in the CALL-IS Electronic Village program book. We have an hour and a half allocated to us, and we may be able to take online presentations.
Here is a description of the session
Coordinators, moderators, and participants in Electronic Village Online speak about their sessions and about how EVO functions. Moderators will overview their sessions, and participants are invited to describe their experiences as members of the EVO online community. Panelists will explain how to become involved as moderators or participants next year.
If you would like to join us, send me (vancestev at gmail.com) a description similar to this one, with names, affiliation, and a title for your session:
Martha Ramirez, Universidad de Los Andes, and Diana Salazar, Saint Matthew School: Flipped Learning 2018: Highlights and reflections
You can also join us if you want any time up to the conference, but this is a last call to be included in the CALL-IS EV program book.
