Hi EVO MC Members,

I just wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoyed being a part of this group. I had so much fun participating in community building and developing such great relationships across the globe.

My husband and I decided to make a change in our lives, and are leaving our school and K12 education at the end of the year. We don't know yet where we will end up, but we are starting our search for new jobs in different professions or in higher education.

Once June arrives, I will no longer have access to my school email address and could possibly lose access to this group. I wish the best for everyone and hope to reconnect in other ways in the future!

After discovery a zombie spawner below my house a few weeks back, I decided to create an XP farm as well as a Zombie Villager Recovery Center. Since most of the villages we knew of were quite a distance from spawn city, I thought it would be nice to have a few NPCs at spawn that we could trade with, and what better way to do so than by curing zombie villagers. It took quite a time to get all the resources I needed (brewing station, fermented spider eye, golden apples and weakness potions) and even more time to cull the zombie villagers from the regular zombies. Once I had all the resources and was able to get a good number of cured villagers, I soon realized that their quarters were not the best (1X3 rooms!) and that they needed a new home.

Well, lucky for me, I was able to find a collaborator who was willing to build a village for our new residents. Dakotah Redstone said he had a perfect place where my villagers could reside in comfort, so last night we took on the task of moving the villagers from their dark and dungy quarters to their new bright and open community. We built a railway from the “dungeon” to the new village, and after much frustration, were finally able to get all of them transported out.

It only took a matter of minutes for the villagers to take to their new home (especially when it turned to night) and to start forming “lasting relationships” with one another. Before we knew it, baby villagers began appearing!

We invite everyone to visit the “Glitch Gulch” (called that because of all the glitches we had with our railway system) and welcome our new residents, and perhaps start a new trading relationship!

It looks like the nether world is not working either at the new spawn area nor the old one back in EVO2016 City.

I added a community sugarcane farm for your map and book needs!

I also added a Bunkhouse room in my house by spawn if you need a place to sleep or hide from mobs!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've set up a community farm for food and trees in the valley below the longhouse. You can reach it by going across the bridge at the left, right out of spawn. Feel free to harvest some food and trees for yourself. Just be sure to replant when your done!

P.S. If anyone has any pumpkins, carrots or potatoes, we would love to have them added to the farm!

FYI.

FYI.  Looks like we may have to reset the end.  The Ender Dragon seems to be glitched out since he longer is taking any kind of damage, either from a direct sword hit or arrows.  Before resetting, any players that were still in the end may want to login in and put their valuables in the enderchest.  A reset will set the end back to the beginning and, all items and structures will be gone.
