On a serious note tho - you can print models from Minecraft too - either via a service like Shapeways or if you have your own 3d Printer .. cool stuff! http://www.minecraftprint.com/
Let us know which would work best for everybody and we can lock it in.
For those who'd like to come along to visit, you'll need to let me know in the comments so I can whitelist you on the day - please include your Minecraft name so I get it right! (I think I know everyone's 8bit identity, but best to be sure! :P)
Just wanted to post a big thanks for allowing me to join in with everyone this week. It's been quite awhile since I've carved out time to come along to fun edumeets in virtual worlds and games ... so its been rather lovely to join in this week. I've enjoyed hearing what everyone is working on and also just being a player / builder with no responsibilities! :)
And thanks for the meetup today... it was lotsa fun!
Hi All, I'm late to connecting as I've been busy moving interstate, but I'm hoping you'll let me join in on the remaining weeks! I am an educational technologist and designer based in Australia, and have been active in Minecraft for more than 6 years. My main project is Massively@jokaydia - a community for kids and parents. My reason for joining the EVO MOOC is to reconnect with what teachers are up to in Minecraft, as I've spent most of the last 12mths or so deeply engaged in building castles and exploring caverns and tunnels with the kids I play with at Massively. I'm looking forward to hearing about your biggest wins, challenges, concerns and innovations, and hopefully sharing some of our knowledge from the Massively@jokaydia mines too! ;)
