I'm taking a page from Dakotah's book and adapting my post from last year:
I'm a middle school librarian on the East Coast of the US. I have an after-school Games Club which is mostly playing Minecraft. We have a MinecraftEdu server that I run in school on my laptop during club meetings. I have also taught several week-long courses for our students in Minecraft, including Media Literacy using Knowclue Kidd 's ideas, and another on Community Building. Those are both available in Canvas. I love playing Minecraft myself, and have played on one server with adult friends and another server with teens, run by teachers.
I haven't spent much time in Minecraft this past year, though. I've spent my virtual world hours mostly in Second Life, doing publicity and developing my inworld business making and selling professional clothing (http://bethghostraven.com). I did just win L$500 Lindens, however, in the Minecraft blizzard-proof building contest that the VSTE Virtual Environments PLN held this past Monday (https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/106561495889390694090).
This is my 3rd time in the EVO Minecraft MOOC, and my 1st time as a moderator. I'm looking forward to seeing you all inworld!
