Jane Chien . I think the best would be if you can arrange a time with Rose for another 30min play session with you, Mattie, and Emanuel. Arrange with Rose to get a recording from Emanuel's computer, so that we would have the on-screen play of all three participants, and clear audio from each one. I will stay out of the game entirely to avoid any confusion.
If you can eliminate the source of the background noise for your next recording that would be great. Look around for the source of the noise (air conditioner?) and turn it off for the duration of the recording. Even changing the direction you're facing can help.
There is also a principled reason to avoid having four participants, namely the possibility of one conversation schisming into two conversations.
Jane Chien I think I have the perfect location for our next set of recordings. Yesterday, I arrived at a new desert biome. I have this biome entirely to myself. And there are FOUR desert temples there. I could bring you three into this biome and then leave and just "let you guys loose" to find all the temples and loot them. No photos clues this time. That's just a distraction. Just Mattie, Emanuel, and you exploring (and video recording).

All we need is one 30min. set of recordings (one from each computer). Of course, it would be great to get two 30min. sessions.

Since we've put a lot of effort and time in search for the temple with 5 clues, I think Mattie and I would like to solve the puzzle. We don't want to give up. ^_^ I'll try and contact Rose to set up our next play date and see if she can be around to help record. Mattie won't cheat. He knows we should not use the dynamic map. I think he just wants to use all the resources he can get (without breaking the rules) to solve the problem and to make the hunting process fun.

ReplyDeleteI got in contact with Rose. She's very busy at the moment and may not be able to help record. I tested my recording settings today and got rid of the background noise. So perhaps tomorrow morning (7am Orlando, 10am Brazil) if Emanual can meet us on the server, both Mattie and I will record our temple quest with good audio quality. What do you think? Or should we wait till Rose have time to record?
