Dakota made some fine progress displacing water to get down underwater. We still don't have an entrance to the temple itself but we're getting there. It's still plenty scary down there with monsters materializing out of nowhere.
It may be that the entrance lies elsewhere, for example, along the row of bioluminescent lights closer to the beach.
What you see here is not the temple per se but an excavation room that Dakota, Jane, and Vance built.
