Since I was the last one to get around to doing my introduction last year... I thought I would "jump the gun" and try to lead the pack this year. But since I am also the world's laziest typer, and I haven't really changed much since last year I can copy and paste right? ;)

I am just going to edit together what I wrote here last year and what I wrote about a month ago (in the moderator group). So, if you have been in either place before, this will def. sound familiar... (apologies for the recycled content). ;)

Howdy! My name is Dakotah Redstone.
I am a virtual person.
I am an explorer/adventurer who travels various connected worlds looking for truth, (and valuable fictions). This is my second year at EVO, but my first as a moderator.

As a virtual person, I am often asked if I am the "same" as my real world avatar. After some thought my response has become that I am as like to Phil to as an offspring is to its parent. We share some of the same physical traits, and shortcomings. :) We both have grey hair, I just have a lot more of it! :) Neither one of us can remember something for more than... what was I saying?

We both share similar tastes and philosophical outlooks; we both love baked potatoes... we both love fish. But I love fishing, Phil not so much. I love baking the potatoes, Phil def not. We both value "worldbuilding", and we both definitely love playing "save the humans". I think I am more the optimist. We both love telling stories, but unlike my real world avatar, I love to write.

So, while I am not the "same" as my real world avatar, there is one key thing we are in complete agreement on; we both cherish the community we discovered at EVO Minecraft MOOC last year, and will make our best effort to contribute to its ongoing success.
