I've been messing around on the backwaters of the jungle biome northwest of our server. I remarked to Jo Kay that someone had left a sign for me on a beach on the river. I was surprised to see it, but later I remembered it from 2016. That's when Mircea Patrascu set a quest for us in the then quite remote area where our spawn point now sits. It was then that I realized that we were in the vicinity of the Big Fire.
Today I retraced the backwater route from Dakotah Redstone's red barn with the yellow roof all the way to the Bg Fire. +Suraj Mukthi was online, when Mircea appeared and offered to guide Suraj there. So it looks like we'll be organizing trips there. Apart from Dak et al's remarkable builds, MIrcea showed us the way back in 2016 how we might set quests for students (or more precisely for each other :-) that model how to use MC to stimulate student curiosity and unlock that latent urge to communicate about something relevant to all involved.
I've set up a Doodle for Sunday and Monday proposing that we try to organize a time or times where we can help participants reach the Big Fire. Find a link to the poll, and more information about the trip, on our Live Events page

If you want to join the trip, participate in the poll for Sunday and Monday, https://doodle.com/poll/9q4eietx7ru92p2x
I'll soon set another for Tue/Wed and post its link on the Live Events page
